Nicholas Jenkins, LPCA

At Bluegrass Behavioral Health & Consulting Services, I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges of their emotional, relational, and psychological lives. Guided by a foundation of spirituality, I embrace values of compassion, understanding, and the belief in the inherent worth of every individual. My integrative approach creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where people of all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities can embark on a path of healing and growth.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, dissociation, personality disorders, and neurodivergence. I have a particular passion for helping clients explore and address issues related to sexuality, spirituality, identity, and existential concerns, supporting them with sensitivity and care as they navigate these deeply personal areas.

I hold a degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary, where I developed a strong foundation in blending evidence-based practices with a compassionate, person-centered philosophy. My training includes relational psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I approach every client as a unique individual, tailoring my methods to meet their specific needs and honoring their capacity for growth and resilience.

Through our work together, I aim to help clients untangle complex emotions, thoughts, and internal dynamics, allowing them to uncover new paths to self-understanding and empowerment. By exploring how the past informs the present, I strive to help clients break free from unhelpful patterns and cultivate healed relationships—with themselves, others, and the world around them.

At Bluegrass Behavioral Health & Consulting Services, I am committed to helping each person I work with step into their healthiest, most authentic self. Wherever you are on your journey, I am here to support you with compassion, expertise, and care.
